About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Confectioner to join our culinary team on a luxury cruise ship. As a key member of our pastry team, you will be responsible for designing and producing exquisite chocolates and pastries that elevate our gourmet offerings across various dining venues onboard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create intricate desserts and confections that meet the highest culinary standards.
  • Collaborate with our dedicated pastry team to deliver a memorable dining experience for our guests.
  • Lead by example, reporting directly to our Executive Pastry Chef and playing a role in training junior team members to cultivate their skills in confectionery.
  • Maintain rigorous hygiene and safety standards in line with corporate protocols, ensuring a clean and efficient workspace.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a high-end culinary environment, with a strong focus on chocolaterie and confectionery.
  • Proven skills in crafting intricate desserts and confections; experience in Michelin-star kitchens is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in luxury cruise lines or high-end hospitality is preferred.
