Job Description

Job Title: Financial Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Specialist to join our team at Fabasoft. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for consolidating our subsidiaries and preparing the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate financial statements from subsidiaries and prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS
  • Reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
  • Implement international accounting standards and address special accounting issues
  • Drive process optimization in Group accounting and serve as the contact person for auditing
  • Act as the central point of contact for consolidation issues for the Fabasoft Group, prepare annual reports, and support Finance segment management with various specialist topics or special accounting issues
  • Play a key role in establishing ESG reporting (particularly EU taxonomy) in the Group

Requirements:

  • Degree in business administration specializing in finance or (international) accounting
  • Several years of experience in consolidation in accordance with IFRS and accounting
  • Highly structured, responsible, and solution-oriented with excellent German language skills
  • Strong communication skills and hands-on mentality
