Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Contracts and Negotiation Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial customer agreements, including sales contracts, amendments, reseller agreements, pricing agreements, contract renewals, and customer requests for proposal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, edit, and negotiate commercial customer agreements
  • Interpret internal or external business issues and recommend innovative solutions and best practices
  • Assess and lead initiatives to improve contracting processes and tools
  • Train and advise commercial teams on agreement structure, templates, risks, and alternatives
  • Ensure compliance to the contracts approval policy and other company policies
Requirements
  • Possess a law degree
  • Have 2+ years' experience with commercial contract review, redlining, and drafting, including local, regional, and global agreements
  • Have 2+ years' experience with contract negotiations and external client engagement
  • Demonstrable experience using sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative contract solutions
  • Possess advanced writing and communication skills with a meticulous attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and/or life sciences industry
  • Experience using Salesforce.Com (SFDC) and/or an SFDC-based contract lifecycle management system
  • Fluent in German
