Continuous Casting Process Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Specialist to lead our continuous casting operations. As part of this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of continuous casting processes, including managing technical interfaces, supporting technical clarifications, and monitoring review processes.
You will also be responsible for coordinating the preparation of project engineering standard documents, supporting the technical sales department, and ensuring the execution of design requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage technical interfaces among engineering disciplines and associated plant areas
- Support technical clarifications with customers and stakeholders
- Conduct regular engineering team meetings
- Monitor the execution of review processes
- Ensure execution of design requirements
- Monitor engineering compliance to safety requirements
- Contribute to risk assessments
- Coordinate preparation of project engineering standard documents
- Support technical sales department in finding solutions during pre-project phase
Requirements
- Higher Technical Level (HTL), Fachhochschule (FH) or technical university degree
- Mastery of MS software, Autocad 2D, and 3D design programs
- Experience in mechanical/plant engineering, particularly with mechanical equipment
- Self-organization and independent work skills
- Several years of professional experience in steel mill or plant engineering sector
- Effective communication skills in German and English
