Your Mission

As our System Administrator at Prewave, you will play a pivotal role in planning, administering, and improving our IT framework. This includes collaborating with the support team to resolve issues, managing IT assets, and contributing to information security.

Main Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Management: Design, administer, and continuously improve our IT system and processes in a proactive manner.
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate with InfoSec and the business to implement effective license management, service design, service planning, and capacity and availability management.
  • Project Implementation: Oversee and test integration projects to ensure successful delivery and management by IT.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide recommendations for technological improvements and resolve complex issues, driving continual improvement efforts and fixing problems in processes and systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for all projects and systems.
  • Collaboration: Communicate effectively and work well with cross-functional teams, overseeing the support function of our internal IT.

Your Profile

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Based in Vienna with a valid work permit.
  • 5+ years in a similar role, preferably (partially) in a start-up or scale-up environment.
  • Familiarity with general administration concepts (e.g., Domain Controllers).
  • Advanced skills in Bash or PowerShell, experience with CRM software and supporting tools.
  • Excellent English communication skills.

Bonus Points:

  • ITIL Certification: Preferred but not required.
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM): Familiarity with tools such as Intune and Mosyle.
  • Industry Experience: Background in B2B SaaS companies and/or startups.
  • Knowledge of networking: concepts including routing, switching, and security.

In line with Austrian law, we are required to state the minimum salary as per the collective agreement, which is EUR 3,724 per month. However, the actual salary will be adjusted based on your qualifications, experience, and the specific role.
