At BMW Group, we are embarking on an innovative journey to enhance our customer-focused direct sales approach across multiple European markets. This initiative involves the implementation of new concepts, processes, and systems tailored to each market, alongside a restructured organization with new and improved roles.

We are seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to join our Template/Ordering/Stock-Operations team. This role is pivotal in analyzing and refining our analytics and recommendation systems, working closely with both our business and IT DevOps teams.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Extract and interpret insights from direct sales processes to bolster Template Management, Stock Vehicle Ordering, and overall Vehicle & Stock operations.
  • Conduct thorough analyses and queries on relevant data sources to uncover trends, identify anomalies, and propose efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to design new features and enhance existing functionalities for our recommendation models based on the insights gathered.
  • Regularly review data sources and pipelines to ensure they effectively capture necessary information for analytics and recommendations.

Your Profile:

  • Proven experience in data analytics and business intelligence.
  • Strong analytical capabilities coupled with a process-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with IT data engineers/scientists and business stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of data models and proficiency in SQL.
  • Familiarity with analytical tools and programming languages such as Python, as well as Business Intelligence platforms.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services (Glue, Athena, QuickSight) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of machine learning models.
  • Demonstrated personal initiative and reliability.
  • Strong team spirit and intercultural competencies.
  • Fluency in business English.
