Internship Opportunity in Risk Management and Stress Testing
Erste Group Bank AG is seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join its Stress Testing and Risk Planning unit as an intern. The successful candidate will support the team in forward-looking estimations of key risk indicators and analysis of actual developments.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the planning process for key risk indicators, including NPL, risk costs, and coverage.
- Assist in the critical assessment of interpretation of planning and stress testing assumptions and results.
- Participate in the development of macroeconomic overlay models and perform back-tests of the results.
- Support team activities related to Group-wide stress testing.
Your Background
- Ongoing studies in quantitative finance, banking, mathematics, physics, statistics, or economics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German skills are a strong advantage.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as problem-solving approach and eagerness to learn.
- MS Office knowledge, especially Excel, and active use or willingness to learn; programming knowledge (SAS, R, SQL) is an advantage.
