About the Role

We are seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to join our team, responsible for designing and developing medical devices from concept to production. As a key member of our design team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional groups to ensure successful product launches.

  • Design and develop precision mechanical components and plastic molded parts using 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks.
  • Work on new product concepts and ideas to drive innovation and improve existing products.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to optimize production processes and ensure high-quality results.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at MED-EL, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the company's mission to improve the lives of individuals with hearing impairments.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in mechanical engineering, precision engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in product development and mechanical design, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Solid knowledge of 3D CAD software and experience working with manufacturing teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
