We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commis de Rang to join our team at one of the 4 or 5-star hotels in the Austrian Alps.

Job Description

As a Commis de Rang, you will play a key support role in creating exceptional dining experiences. Your main responsibilities include assisting the Chef de Rang in managing the station and ensuring guests receive impeccable service.

  • Welcome Guests: Assist in welcoming guests and providing a warm, professional experience.
  • Maintain Station: Support the Chef de Rang to maintain smooth and high-quality operations.
  • Gaining Knowledge: Gain knowledge of the menu and wine list to assist with guest inquiries.
  • Deliver Excellent Service: Deliver excellent table service by serving dishes and beverages with precision.
  • Cleanliness: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
  • Teamwork: Respond calmly to challenges during service and work as part of a cohesive team.
Requirements

We are seeking motivated individuals with at least 1 year of experience in a similar position, attention to detail, and a strong focus on quality, stress resistance, and the ability to work effectively in a team. A friendly and outgoing personality, good manners, a well-groomed appearance, B1-level German or higher, and fluent English are also essential.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of €1,650-€1,800 per month (net), plus tips, depending on experience and German skills. Additional benefits include two extra salaries per year, vacation pay, free accommodation and meals, full insurance, and social benefits according to Austrian law.
