Senior Mainframe Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mainframe Architect to join our Payments Services Department at Erste Digital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the architecture and design of our central Erste Group Payments System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement the architecture of the central Erste Group Payments System
  • Analyze and evaluate the existing system architecture to identify improvement potentials and enhancements
  • Collaborate with the solution management team to design technical solutions that align with new specifications
  • Ensure security, scalability, and performance of the Payments System

Requirements:

  • Proven record of experience as a Mainframe Software Architect or in a similar position
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in mainframe technologies and systems, specifically in Natural/Adabas or COBOL/DB2
  • Expertise in designing and implementing concepts for complex software solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, an analytical thinking approach, and the ability to dig through complex systems
  • Strong communication skills in English and German
