Position Summary

Samsung Electronics, a global technology leader, offers an exciting opportunity for a Risk and Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our internal audit and compliance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and security of our business operations.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Perform risk assessments and internal audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address internal control weaknesses and operational risks.
  • Investigate allegations of fraud, misconduct, or rule violations, and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our business processes, systems, and technology infrastructure.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to employees on risk management, internal audit, and compliance best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in risk management and internal audit.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Cyber Security.
  • Professional certifications in risk management, internal audit, or compliance (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISM).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable role, with a strong background in risk management, internal audit, or compliance.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
