Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Department of Computer Science. The successful candidate will carry out high-quality research and specialize in a particular field of information security, digital forensics, and privacy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent research activities in the field of information security, digital forensics, and privacy.
  • Teach courses, including examinations, and supervise students, including bachelor theses.
  • Participate in organizational and administrative tasks, as well as evaluation measures.
  • Engage in continuing education and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Completed relevant doctoral or PhD degree.
  • Excellent knowledge in selected areas of information security, digital forensics, and privacy.
  • Proven publication experience.
  • Proven teaching skills.
  • Creativity and implementation skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Proven experience in software development (open source) is an advantage.
  • German language skills are an advantage.
  • Leadership skills in dealing with student employees and/or project staff.
  • Communication skills in supervising students.
  • Enthusiasm for university research.
  • Reliability.
  • Ability to work in a team.
