Job Title: Urban Noise Modelling Expert
Are you a motivated and skilled individual looking for a challenging project? We offer a unique opportunity to work on a master thesis focused on prediction of urban noise using ray tracing methods. As an Urban Noise Modelling Expert, you will be responsible for developing a simulation tool that takes into account acoustic sources coming from electrical loading columns producing noise through fan units. Your task will be to compare the accuracy and efficiency of the model with FEM calculations from commercial tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Literature study and development of ray tracing modelling techniques
- Tool and performance study and comparison with reference FEM calculations
- Calculation of relevant urban noise predictors
About the Project:
This project is an excellent opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art simulation tool and gain experience in the fields of civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or technical physics. You will have the chance to learn different ray tracing and FEM simulation tools and work independently with professional guidance and support from our experienced employees.
