ERP Implementation Project Manager Role

Job Summary

This role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning to delivery, ensuring timely completion within budget while meeting customer requirements and expectations. You will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, maintaining project plans and deliverables, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans aligned with customer needs and organizational goals;
  • Mentor and lead project teams, fostering collaboration and driving results-oriented workstreams;
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, scope changes, and resource allocation;
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery and quality outcomes;
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience;
  • A minimum of 6 years of professional project management experience, preferably in ERP implementations;
  • PMP or Prince2 Practitioner certification; strong communication and negotiation skills;
  • Excellent leadership abilities, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects within budget and timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field;
  • Minimum 6 years of related professional project management experience, ideally in ERP-projects in the supplier role;
  • Evidence of proven team leadership over large scale technical engagements;
  • International experience preferred;
  • Highly driven with excellent communications skills both oral and written, able to influence at senior level within Unit4 and with customers at senior level, listens and communicates effectively;
  • Demonstrates the ability to apply sound judgment to any situation and achieve desired outcomes;
  • Demonstrates product proficiency, by achieving appropriate Unit4 professional certifications;
  • Able to form and manage cross functional teams and apply leadership skills;
  • Proven negotiation skills;
  • Evidence of successful relationship building within Unit4 team e.g. Sales and Support teams;
  • Collaborates and builds best practice knowledge across regional Unit4 PM teams;
  • Able to multi-task and perform well under pressure;
  • PMP or Prince2 Practitioner certified;
  • German and English language skills are essential and an additional language would be an advantage.
