Job Description

At Takeda, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QC Supervisor to join our team on site. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient execution of IPC, release, and stability analyses in accordance with cGMP standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a 10-member laboratory team
  • Ensure the timely and efficient execution of IPC, release, and stability analyses in accordance with cGMP standards
  • Maintain laboratory operations and continuously improve processes
  • Provide area reporting for the laboratory, capacity planning, project planning, and tracking
  • Implement and validate analytical methods, procure and qualify laboratory equipment, and computerized systems projects
  • Represent the laboratory during regulatory inspections and internal audits
  • Define and continuously monitor laboratory-specific KPIs and control costs in the area
  • Process change requests, deviations, and laboratory investigations
  • Evaluate and approve documents (SOPs, forms, internal instructions, equipment documentation, validation documents, invalid results, etc.)
Requirements:
  • Completed higher education in chemistry, analytical science, or a related field
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry (QC/QA) with leadership experience
  • Excellent knowledge of GMP requirements for a pharmaceutical quality control laboratory
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and standard laboratory software in the pharmaceutical field (e.g., LIMS, Chromeleon, etc.)
  • German and English language skills (on a Matura level)
  • High level of self-responsibility and result-oriented work
  • Strong communication skills, excellent stress management, flexibility, and empathy
