We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Assistant Professor (postdoc) at the Department of Mathematics. This is a non-tenure track position, and the employment contract is concluded for a specific period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct independent research in the area of Dynamical Systems
  • Teach courses in German and English, with a focus on Dynamical Systems
  • Participate in research and teaching projects at the Department of Mathematics
  • Supervise students and contribute to quality assurance measures
  • Participate in public relations activities and expand international scientific and cultural contacts
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Mathematics from a recognized institution
  • Strong background in Dynamical Systems, with a focus on geometric and/or bifurcation theory, numerical and/or rigorous dynamics
  • Fluency in English and German language skills
  • Ability to work in a diverse team and contribute to the development of the Department of Mathematics
