Job Summary

Erste Group Bank AG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Large Corporates team as an Industry Expert/Consultant. This role will focus on providing expert advice and guidance to clients in the Energy Sector, leveraging our bank's extensive knowledge and expertise in this area.

About the Role

  • Responsibility for developing and maintaining relationships with key clients in the Energy Sector, identifying and addressing their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client service and drive business growth.
  • Conducting in-depth research and analysis on market trends, client needs, and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the Energy Sector, including market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on strategic and operational matters, including financial modeling, risk management, and deal execution.
  • Working closely with product specialists, risk managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of transactions and delivery of exceptional client service.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, or business administration.
  • Proven track record of success in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the Energy Sector and its dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop creative solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Fluency in English and German, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
