Head of Product Management Packaging with Technical Expertise

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Management Leader to join our team at Delfort. As the Head of Product Management Packaging with a technical background, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and implementation of our packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a market-oriented R&D roadmap for fiber-based packaging solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Lead a dedicated team of experts and specialists in a matrix organization, fostering collaboration and driving innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development, Production, and Sales teams to stay informed about market developments and customer requirements.
  • Manage the Delfort product portfolio, including specifications for paper, paper storage, usability, printing, and processing.
  • Monitor, optimize, and control development processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

About You

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in flexible packaging markets and a technical background. Your expertise should include:

  • Profound international experience in flexible packaging markets and a converting background.
  • University degree (preferably technical) or equivalent.
  • Paper production or processing knowledge is beneficial.
  • Experience in leading technical teams in matrix organizations.
  • High proficiency in English, with German being an advantage.
  • Strong networker with a communicative personality, combined with excellent cooperation and coordination skills.
  • Proactive and result-driven mindset, with a hands-on approach.
