Job Description:

As a Cloud Software Developer at Österreichische Post AG, you will be responsible for developing the technical core of the country's leading logistics and postal service provider. Your innovative software solutions will ensure the provision of postal services to the Austrian population, even in critical times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement technical requirements based on the defined software architecture and use suitable program libraries, frameworks, and tools in the execution thereof.
  • Define and develop the interfaces between individual components, data structures, user interfaces, and software modules in co-ordination with the Solution Architect.
  • Be involved in the analysis of existing and the design of new software components and solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with the defined quality criteria.
  • Take part in voting in all Agile meetings.

Requirements:
  • Programming knowledge in .NET/C# (.NET 6).
  • Knowledge of MS or Azure SQL.
  • Experience with OpenID Connect, and OAuth is of an advantage.
  • Experience with webservices (REST, WCF) and version control (Git).
  • Experience with unit testing.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms and their services (Azure, AWS).
  • Experience with Microsoft's cloud technologies, especially the Azure platform.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, especially the automated provision of cloud services through Infrastructure as Code (e.g., PowerShell, ARM templates, Terraform).
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Relevant practical experience in working in and with Agile product organisations, communication and team skills in an international environment.
  • Fluent German is an advantage.
