About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Jira System Administrator to join our team at Dynatrace Austria GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Jira instance, providing expert-level support to our development teams, and driving process improvements to enhance our agile framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and design solutions to meet those needs using Jira and Confluence.
- Develop and maintain Jira workflows, custom fields, and automation scripts to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer support to development teams, addressing Jira-related issues and concerns.
- Take ownership of Jira instance maintenance, ensuring timely updates, backups, and security patches.
- Work closely with the Atlassian team to resolve complex issues and stay up-to-date with the latest product features.
- Develop and maintain documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Jira administration, with a strong focus on system administration and technical support.
- Excellent understanding of Jira workflows, custom fields, and automation scripts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Atlassian tools, including Confluence and Bitbucket.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex Jira-related issues.
