Financial Operations Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team at Headcount AG. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing market day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and optimization of financial processes with special focus on the Austrian market.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and consolidate month-end close across multiple entities
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Monitor AR/AP aging and support cash flow optimization
- Ensure accurate balance sheet oversight and strong internal controls
- Oversight of tax filings in Austria (VAT, CIT, WHT) and coordination with tax advisors
- Statutory accounting and management of external audit processes
- Preparation and management of transfer pricing documentation
- IDentification and implementation of process improvements and best practices
- Collaboration across finance functions (R2 R, S2 P, I2 C) and fostering a team-oriented environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience in a senior accounting role, ideally across multiple markets
- Strong knowledge of Austrian accounting and tax regulations
- Experience in statutory accounting and transfer pricing
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Fluency in German and English; additional European languages are a plus
