Lam Research AG, a leading innovator in the semiconductor industry, is seeking an experienced Software Development Professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in creating scalable designs for enterprise programs, applications, and databases.
The estimated salary for this position is approximately €62,000 per year, paid 14 times per year, which is negotiable based on expertise and skills. This competitive compensation package reflects the importance of your contributions to our team's success.
About the RoleIn this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for analyzing existing programs, formulating logic for new systems, and recommending changes in development, maintenance, enhancements, and system standing that can make a significant difference in Lam's operational success.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain databases, systems, and applications required for data analytics;
- Provide expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems requirements as well as procedures that support cost efficiency, meet user requirements, and consider data quality requirements;
- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues using fundamental professional concepts and company policies;
- Maintain currency and continuously improve Business Applications interfacing with databases and/or web-services;
- Ensure implementation methods comply with company policies;
- Deploy analytical platforms/databases, develop data models, and build out data marts as a base for dashboarding and reporting;
- Act as an expert in dashboarding solutions and guide business users through the creation process for dashboards;
- Contribute to the framework of corporate data architecture;
- Responsible for data modeling and the successful transfer of data to corporate DB standard as well as defining the Metadata Import process.
- Computer proficiency and extensive knowledge and experience with dashboarding and reporting tools like PowerBI/Fabric, Azure Data Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals, etc.;
- Strong skills in analytics, communications, and servicing internal customers;
- Database administration knowledge (tools and monitoring) - MS Certificate or equivalent;
- Ability to work efficiently cross-functional with excellent English oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to independently drive actions to ensure adherence to schedules and workplans;
- Project management and Product Lifecycle management skills;
- Experience with system implementations in a cross-functional environment;
- Advanced understanding of IT subject matter, infrastructure, and hardware/software.
This position will be occupied in Villach and is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group E.
