About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Zollabteilungsleiter to join our team at FedEx. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all customs-related processes and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all customs-related activities, including import and export procedures
• Provide guidance and support to team members on customs-related matters
• Develop and implement customs strategies to optimize business processes
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external customers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance
• Stay up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and procedures

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in customs-related roles, with 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
• Advanced knowledge of customs procedures and regulations (EU Customs Code)
• Strong understanding of customs-related laws and regulations (e.g. Export Controls, Dual Use, Denied Party Screening)
• Excellent English and German language skills (written and verbal)
• Proven leadership and management experience
