We are Dedalus HealthCare, a leading provider of healthcare software solutions in Europe and one of the world's largest companies. We offer an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer - End User Support to join our team in Vienna.


Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-user requests by providing necessary services or coordinating requests with external partners. Additionally, they will handle incidents and other escalated requests from the Global Service Desk, act as on-site contact for local IT inquiries, investigate IT incidents (including 2nd level), and support installation, configuration, and maintenance of end-user devices and workplaces.

Key responsibilities include creating and updating knowledge base articles, providing documentation for self-service, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services and workflows, working with IT project teams for smooth transitions into regular IT operations, and handling hardware and software orders for users.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require professional education in ICT (HTL, FH) and first experiences in end-user services support. Essential skills include supporting standard business applications, Windows Operating Systems, and standard end-user hardware. Knowledge of mobile systems (iOS, Android, iPadOS) and macOS is beneficial, as is basic technical and practical knowledge in IT infrastructure. Experience in ITIL processes and end-user services in an international environment are welcome.

You should have a strong focus on end-user experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in German (C1) and English (B2). Willingness to analyze complex IT issues and challenging tasks is also essential.
