About the Position

This consultancy offers an exciting opportunity to work with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Joint FAO/IAEA Centre of Nuclear Techniques in Food and Agriculture. As a consultant, you will have the chance to contribute to the development of innovative solutions for crop improvement and biodiversity, while promoting sustainable agriculture practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant breeding and genetics, as well as experience in project management and stakeholder engagement. Main Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise to the Plant Breeding and Genetics subprogramme on crop improvement and biodiversity.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to establish and maintain public-private sector partnerships.
  • Prepare and disseminate information materials, including reports, newsletters, and briefing notes.
