Procurement Specialist

• Procurement Activities: Review and process purchase requisitions, process purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliers, manage purchase order releases daily to meet demand requirements.
• Supplier Management: Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost-effective and timely manner, work with suppliers on a daily basis to assure scheduled deliveries are met.
• Reporting and Analysis: Understand and maintain weekly reports, develop and maintain key supplier relationships with day-to-day interface (peer level) to review open action items, supplier performance to commitments of on-time deliveries, future demand and future cost reductions forecasting.

• Commercial Education: Commercial education - e.g. apprenticeship (LAP) or HAK
• Work Experience: Work experience in an industrial environment would be an asset but not a requirement
• Skills: Very good MS Office skills, ERP/SAP skills preferred, excellent oral and written communication skills in English

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal Technology Industries in occupation group D or E depending on education. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills. The chosen candidate will be hired through a third-party employment agency.
