We are seeking a Sustainability Strategist to propel our journey towards a greener future.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) on diverse materials and processes.
- Manage supplier requests and validate data with precision.
- Conduct in-depth research on sustainability-related topics and regulatory frameworks.
- Manage and support projects within the Global Research Team, driving progress towards net-zero targets.
- Raise ideas and highlight areas for improvement to increase innovation.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in environment and bioresources management, nutritional sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, technical chemistry, or process engineering.
- 5 years of experience in sustainability and/or innovation management.
- Proven experience in managing innovative sustainability projects in the FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical mind with the ability to take fact-based decisions.
- Natural curiosity with the ability to quickly identify important scientific questions.
- Scientific experience and/or publications in the related field are of strong advantage.
- Strong communication skills, open to learn with a pro-active and solution-focused way of working.
- Fluency in English is a must, German is an advantage.
This position comes with an attractive compensation package, including a salary range of approximately EUR 65,000 - 80,000 per year, depending on experience.
