Sustainability Strategist

We are seeking a Sustainability Strategist to propel our journey towards a greener future.

• Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) on diverse materials and processes.
• Manage supplier requests and validate data with precision.
• Conduct in-depth research on sustainability-related topics and regulatory frameworks.
• Manage and support projects within the Global Research Team, driving progress towards net-zero targets.
• Raise ideas and highlight areas for improvement to increase innovation.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Master's degree in environment and bioresources management, nutritional sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, technical chemistry, or process engineering.
• 5 years of experience in sustainability and/or innovation management.
• Proven experience in managing innovative sustainability projects in the FMCG industry.
• Strong analytical mind with the ability to take fact-based decisions.
• Natural curiosity with the ability to quickly identify important scientific questions.
• Scientific experience and/or publications in the related field are of strong advantage.
• Strong communication skills, open to learn with a pro-active and solution-focused way of working.
• Fluency in English is a must, German is an advantage.

This position comes with an attractive compensation package, including a salary range of approximately EUR 65,000 - 80,000 per year, depending on experience.
