Global Inventory Manager

As a Global Inventory Manager at PALFINGER AG, you will play a crucial role in supporting the target definition process and ensuring follow-up and transparency. You will work closely with colleagues in inventory management, SCM, Operations, Procurement, and PLM&E to achieve inventory optimization targets.
Key Responsibilities- Derive inventory management measures and establish follow-up processes and monitoring
- Enhance the inventory reduction program 2023-2025 and develop short- and long-term measures on inventory management
- Establish a continuous improvement program
- Contribute to trade-offs in inventory-costs-service-level-sustainability targets while considering company goals
- Establish state-of-the-art inventory management processes, standards, and targets
- Communicate with location- and regional managers to maintain required inventory levels between the various locations
- Set up inventory trainings to establish company-wide standards and competencies
- Actively support supply chain improvement projects and system rollouts
- Establish an inventory reporting system and improvement processes
- University degree in supply chain management or a similar oriented degree
- Multi-year work experience in SCM in a global organization
- Experience in Supply Chain Management & especially in inventory management
- High level of interpersonal and intercultural skills combined
- Project management skills
- Very accurate and structured way of working and presenting
- Business English
