About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at REWE International AG. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize our IT solutions to ensure long-term international usability
  • Accompany the entire development process, from modeling to programming and customizing software solutions
  • Lead the implementation of QA standards and guidelines
  • Drive accountability with team leads and their teams to meet quality performance goals and ensure program standards are met
  • Support product teams with QA, testing, and test automation
  • Evaluate new tools and methods
  • Pass on knowledge to colleagues through technical documentation
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a comparable position
  • Very good technical skills and knowledge of at least one common programming language (e.g. Java)
  • Experience with manual and automated testing
  • Ability to perform black-, gray-, and white-box testing
  • Experience with test tools and frameworks (e.g. SpringBoot tests, cucumber, appium, junit, restassured)
  • Good understanding of the software development life cycle
