About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Validation Engineer to join our team at Infineon Technologies AG. As a Product Validation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure Infineon components in motor drives, battery protection, and DCDC Power Conversion Applications, DCDC Buck Converters, Brick Converters for Telecom, SMPS for Servers/Telecom, and Adapters.
  • Perform tests of leading-edge devices on specially designed boards to support the development and optimization of new technologies.
  • Carry out competitor benchmarking, organize and analyze data, and generate test reports.
  • Act as technical support for product definition engineering team to validate products value proposition in customer systems during development projects.
  • Contribute to peer reviews of internal development documents.
  • Create new application test setups (e.g., design of application test board) including test automation.
  • Assist Product Application Engineering in writing Application notes, layout-, and board design.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor degree from a university/university of applied sciences in Electrical Engineering or comparable.
  • 1-3 years proven hands-on work experience in electrical engineering laboratory environment, including using lab equipment.
  • Profound knowledge of semiconductors, especially Power MOSFETs preferable.
  • Experience in analysis of measurement data and presentation of results for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Capability to work independently and provide guidance for teammates.
  • Programming skills in C, C++, Visual Studio, Matlab, PCB Design (Allegro, Altium Designer).
  • MS Office skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring understanding and buy-in.
  • Capability to provide regular, concise project updates to team members, stakeholders, and PL management.
  • Excellent English and ideally basic German skills.
