About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Integration Specialist to join our team. As part of this role, you will work closely with software developers to analyze requirements and create innovative designs that are then implemented by the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Integrate Frequentis Embedded hardware and software as well as 3rd party components into our Frequentis Embedded Linux distribution.
  • Serve as the link between project management and software development, ensuring developments are completed on time and within budget.
  • Support error analysis by reviewing source code to guide developers in the right direction.
  • Develop test cases to check functionality and compatibility of components and modules.
  • Analyze system requirements and design documents to prevent integration problems or conflicts.
  • Document solutions, findings, and knowledge in tools like Jira/Jama/Confluence.
  • PARTICIPATE IN REVIEWS AND PREPARE FEEDBACK TO IMPROVE QUALITY, MAINTAINABILITY, AND TEST COVERAGE.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of education with a focus on embedded systems or computer science and at least 3 years of professional experience in this field.
  • Technical skills, analytical thinking, and teamwork skills to ensure correct integration and seamless functionality of software components.
  • Good IT infrastructure knowledge due to previous work experience.
  • Interest in IT security, scripting languages, embedded hardware, and software with a focus on Linux and affinity for hardware.
  • Proficiency in English and German, enabling communication with colleagues worldwide.
Compensation Package

The estimated salary for this position is around €80,000-€100,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a trust-based office model, modern mentoring, and training opportunities.
