Job Description

OCHA is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst - Crime Prevention Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting crime data to inform policy decisions and support the development of effective crime prevention strategies.

About the Role

The Data Analyst - Crime Prevention Specialist will work closely with our crime prevention team to analyze and interpret data related to crime trends and patterns. This will involve using statistical software to analyze large datasets, identify trends and correlations, and develop predictive models to inform crime prevention strategies.

Responsibilities

* Analyze and interpret crime data to identify trends and patterns
* Develop predictive models to forecast crime rates and trends
* Collaborate with the crime prevention team to design and implement effective crime prevention strategies
* Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
* Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in crime analysis and prevention

Requirements

* Master's degree in a relevant field such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in statistical software such as R or SAS
* Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
