Welders & Boilermakers (Trades & Services) Full time
Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia, operated by Woodside Energy.
This project will process Scarborough gas, achieving an LNG capacity of approximately 5 million tonnes per annum.
Additional domestic gas infrastructure will also be installed, increasing capacity to around 225 Terajoules per day.
Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to manage the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning scope for Pluto Train 2.
What's On Offer: 3:1 roster, FIFO to Karratha with direct flight from Brisbane & PerthFly home morning of day 21, paid at ordinary hours - home the same dayRDO is accrued - choose to have it paid during RNR or at the end of your contractFull time, permanent employment (4 weeks of annual leave, 10 days of personal leave)$5.40 per hour site allowance$1.88 per hour trade allowanceSeverance payment of 2 x base hourly rate per week68 hour work week and weekly payIndustry leading camp facility with a lap pool, wet mess, gym and much moreQualifications and Skills: Demonstrated experience in a similar position performing boilermaker work within the piping fieldMinimum 3 years of experience within a similar fieldCert III in Engineering (Fabrication)Gas TestingWhite CardAbility to pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screeningPrevious Bechtel/LNG/Major project experience is desirableAdditional Information: This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.
), and work in inclement weather.
Some lifting may be required.
Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e.
respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.
).
The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products – i.e.
cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site.
Mobile phones and other personal electronic devices – i.e.
wireless headphones, iPads, smart watches - are also not permitted on site.
