About Our Client:
Rio Tinto operates the world's largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets.
These assets include a world-class, integrated network of 15 iron ore mines, four port facilities, a 1,700 kilometre rail network and related infrastructure.
Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety, and environmental performance.

About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive Advisor – Project Controls to join our State Agreements and Approvals team.
In this role, you will oversee key procurement activities, manage vendor and onboarding processes, and provide critical administrative support across various project areas.
You'll also play a key role in managing document control, assisting with reporting metrics, and supporting the Integrated Approvals Schedule.
Working closely with team members, you will ensure consistency, improve processes, and assist with risk management efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage procurement tasks, including purchase requisitions, orders, equipment purchases, and invoicing.
Oversee the vendor onboarding process.
Assist in planning processes and metric management/reporting.
Provide support for onboarding new employees using standardized approaches.
Manage document control and support meeting cadences, presentations, and minute/action tracking.
Assist with risk management using Archer.
Provide administrative support for the Integrated Approvals Schedule.
Manage accommodation forecasting and PDA's.
Contribute to continuous improvement across processes in State Agreements and Approvals.
Skills and Experience Required:
Experience in administration, planning, and coordination roles.
Strong communication and engagement skills.
Project management and procurement experience.
Preferred background in mining or similar industry.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Knowledge of procurement processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in contractor management.
