Your key responsibilities within this role:
Review ICT solution proposals, provide guidance and assistance to ensure security architecture principles are incorporated, appropriate, and meet ISM requirements.
Attend meetings with clients and stakeholders, providing guidance and advice to achieve security outcomes.
Conduct security risk assessments relating to IT solution designs and proposed solutions.
Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks to the IT environment, providing appropriate treatments to reduce risks in line with government regulations and industry standard processes.
Ensure best practice security architectural methodology is continually being developed, refined, and implemented.
Develop and maintain architecture patterns, templates, and processes to standardise related artifacts, review and approval processes within the broader security framework.
Support security Certification, Accreditation, and ensure critical deliverables are delivered to the required standard.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, to ensure a coordinated approach to security.
Minimum Requirements:
Australian citizen as the role requires clearance with AGSVA baseline, with a view of attaining NV1.
TOGAF and/or SABSA qualifications highly regarded.
Degree or equivalent experience qualified specialising in Cyber Security / Information Security disciplines.
Extensive experience working as a Cyber Security Architect.
Prior experience within a federal government or large complex organisation highly regarded.
