About the role
Opportunity to join the team at Southern Cross Accountants' as a SMSF Accountant.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality tax and accounting services to our portfolio of SMSF clients.
This is a full-time role based in our Ballina office in the beautiful Northern Rivers region of NSW
What you'll be doing
Preparing and lodging annual tax returns, financial statements, and regulatory documents for SMSF clients
Providing strategic advice to SMSF trustees on taxation, estate planning, and regulatory compliance
Liaising with clients, auditors, financial advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
Staying up-to-date with changes in SMSF legislation and industry best practices
What we're looking for
Previous experience in SMSF accounting, with a strong understanding of relevant tax and superannuation laws
Excellent technical skills in taxation, accounting and SMSF audit procedures
Proven ability to provide clear and strategic advice to clients, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry changes
