Employment Type: Full-Time upon completion of paid training
Salary Range: Starting $180,000+ super based on experience and performance. Increases to salary based on performance.

PlantMed Clinic stands at the forefront of clinical medical cannabis care in Australia, dedicated to providing specialist care and achieving clinical excellence in cannabis medicine. We are committed to mentoring our medical officers to become experts in this field, under the guidance of Dr. John Teh, our Medical Director.
Role Overview:
We are seeking two dedicated Medical Officers to join our team. These roles are designed for medical practitioners at various stages of their careers, from Senior House Officers (SHO) to consultants, focusing on non-procedural, clinical applications of cannabis medicine. Career progression to consultancy will be offered to suitable candidates based on performance and long-term working relationships. Consultancy income starting from $350K+ full time patient load.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Diagnose and treat patients, focusing on cannabis-based therapies. SHOs will service existing patients under direct supervision.
Clinical Excellence: Maintain high standards of medical practice, ensuring each patient receives personalized and effective treatment plans.
Mentorship and Training: Engage in comprehensive training provided by Dr. John Teh to specialize in cannabinoid medicine.
Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to ongoing research and development in cannabis medicine.
Collaboration: Work closely with the PlantMed team and external healthcare providers to ensure holistic shared patient care.
Performance: Regular reporting on patient care outcomes. Monthly meetings with Care team and KPI's reviewed quarterly.
Qualifications:
Registration: Full AHPRA registration.
Experience: Prior experience in medical practice is essential. Experience with cannabis or medical cannabis is highly desirable but not mandatory as full training will be provided.
Commitment: A strong desire to specialize in cannabis medicine and provide excellent patient care.
