You will have a chance to make a real difference to your local communities and to the lives of those you work with.About the RoleThe Office of the Commissioner for Victims of Crime (OCVoC) promotes and safeguards the interests of victims of crime in the Western Australian justice system.
The Victim Liaison Officer is responsible for assisting in the delivery of an effective victim-centred service, responding to a wide range of victim enquiries, providing information and referrals, and liaising with stakeholders on behalf of victims of crime.The role also involves facilitating the Department's Homicide Payment Assistance Scheme, assisting the team leader with Breaches of Victims of Crime Guidelines Complaints, and supporting the development of operational policies and procedures.To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector, you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.Benefits and opportunitiesFlexible working arrangementsCareer pathway opportunitiesLearning and development opportunity programsApplication ProcessHow to applyPlease ensure you review the attached Job Description Form (JDF) for further information about the requirements of the position.
