Hybrid role with flexible working arrangements9 month contract roleAs the Analyst supporting the strategic policy and insights unit, you will play a pivotal role in the analysis of multiple datasets to generate industry and audience insights.
You will leverage your expertise in both data administration and data analysis/research, with a core focus around data sourcing through desktop research, entry, quality control, and data extraction.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a passion for film and the arts and would love to deeply focus their analytical skills within this area.
Key Responsibilities: Regular data collection from multiple data sources and data entry into internal databases, ensuring up-to-date data is available for reporting purposes in alignment with scheduled deadlines.Desktop research on various content through the monitoring of industry sources.Data validation and verification in adherence to procedural manuals and definitions to ensure high-quality data is maintained.Extraction and analysis of datasets from internal databases to generate knowledge and insights.Review and preparation of reporting outputs that contribute to understanding various industry landscapes, audiences, and impacts.Skills and Experience Required: 1 – 2 years experience as a Data AnalystKeen interest and/or experience in films, television, or the artsProven experience with collecting, tracking, and entering reliable and accurate data from multiple secondary data sources via desktop research into databasesAbility to collate, analyse, and summarise knowledge and insights for reporting purposes.Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.Strong attention to detail, and takes active measures to ensure data entry quality and accuracy.Ability to retain focus on repetitive work whilst finding efficiencies, to enable time and skills to be maximized for analysis, knowledge generation, and insights.Demonstrates initiative, problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude.Excellent oral and written communication skills.What's in it for you: The opportunity to work with a fantastically friendly team and get your teeth sunk into some interesting, insightful workFlexible role, with hybrid working optionsSupportive leadership teamThis will be a short interview process, and we are looking to move forward with the right candidate ASAP.
