That's why we're creating a workplace and culture where you can truly thrive.Join us and help move Australia's heart health and your career forward.Your impact, with usAs our highly valued Cardiac Sonographer (Specialist Cardiac Physiologist), you'll use your echocardiographer skills and expertise to undertake best practice delivery of a wide range of echocardiography procedures and provide quality care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.Our echocardiography services include both outpatient & inpatient transthoracic echocardiography, exercise stress echocardiography, dobutamine stress echocardiography and assisting with transoesophageal echocardiography studies.Based in St Leonards, you'll be providing echocardiography services including both outpatient & inpatient transthoracic echocardiography, exercise stress echocardiography, dobutamine stress echocardiography & assisting transoesophageal echocardiography studies.
Helping to improve people's health and lives and shaping our organisation's future.You'll make a meaningful impact by:Operating cardiac ultrasound and testing equipment to obtain optimal images and support medical diagnoses.Interpreting and processing requests for cardiac procedures, ensuring accurate patient identification and history review.Documenting patient conditions, including pathology characteristics, and delivering high-quality patient care and customer service.Building strong relationships with referrers, addressing their needs promptly and explaining procedures clearly to patients.Collaborating with Cardiologists and staff to uphold quality standards, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.What you'll bringTo succeed in this role, you will have:A post graduate qualification in the field of cardiac ultrasoundA current registration with Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)Sound clinical skills in the field of echocardiographyExcellent interpersonal & patient care skills with the ability to show a friendly and professional approachCommitment to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of developments in cardiac ultrasound techniques.Current Australian Driver's License and ability to work across several locations across Sydney.We would also love you to have:A mindset of collaboration and continual learning.
