We are seeking a dedicated Senior Practice Mentor to join our Integrated Services team within the Humanitarian Services Department.
This pivotal role provides leadership, supervision, and mentoring support to a team of Case Managers.
The Senior Practice Mentor will guide and enhance their practice, enabling them to effectively support clients with complex needs, fostering pathways to self-sufficiency and wellness.
Key Responsibilities: Providing leadership on professional frameworks for quality service delivery and duty of care to complex-needs clients on Nauru.Providing leadership and mentoring case managers, ensuring that relevant case management services are being offered and delivered.Actively participating in team meetings, supervisions, professional development and training opportunities a team of locally based employees, both individually and in groups.Ensuring high levels of record keeping quality and consistent support is being delivered to local and expatriate staff.Identifying resources across the ESC business needed to deliver an appropriate service level.Participating and leading in the evaluation of case plans to assist and develop skills within the case management team for both locally based employees and expatriate staff.What We Offer: Accommodation: Accommodation provided on the island.Flights: Paid return flights from Brisbane.Travel Allowance: Generous allowance for on-island expenses.Roster: Enjoy a balanced lifestyle with a 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off FIFO roster.Growth & Opportunity: Be part of a dynamic team during an exciting phase of expansion.Leadership & Mentorship: Build and mentor a high-performing Humanitarian Services team, driving best practice across the board.
Play a key role in developing and mentoring local talent.What you will bring: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work;Minimum 2 years' experience as a social worker in a human services context.Minimum 3 years' experience in leadership roles, including supervision of casework staff.Experience working with clients with high needs or heightened vulnerability.Demonstrated experience working as a social worker with clients from an asylum seeker, refugee or forced migrant background.Well developed leadership skills with the ability to provide mentoring and support to the case managers and local workforce to build capability.Why Join Us?
