With a medium sized portfolio of homes in Victoria and strategic plans for growth over the next few years, this organisation has built a positive and solid reputation for looking after staff, residents and their families.The role:We are seeking a confident and driven Executive level Quality and Risk Manager (RN or EN) who possesses the ability to co-operate with and influence site staff to adopt a sturdy and effective continuous improvement culture and step up into the GM Operations role as required.The Group Quality & Risk Manager will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for championing quality and continuous improvement activities across a medium sized portfolio of homes which are located in Melbourne metro areas.
The position will require travel to the various homes and head office, which is based in the South Eastern suburbs.Responsibilities will include:Ensuring Quality systems are managed and all employees are working within the Quality framework.Creating and maintaining an Internal Audit program that will measure organization performance against the Aged Care Quality Standards.Identifying adverse and emerging trends, and in collaboration with Senior Executives, develop action plans to rectify areas of poor performance.Supporting the Homes during Agency visits and Accreditation.Providing training and mentoring to the clinical teams and implementing education, process changes and initiatives to achieve best practice outcomes.Responsibility for the revision of national quality indicators program, reportable incidents & mandatory reporting (SIRS) and care minute reporting.You will need to have a strong understanding of compliance and quality improvement outcomes in residential aged care environment and strong data analysis and clinical skills for informed decision-making and continuous improvement.Current AHPRA registration as an RN or EN preferred.Minimum 2-3 years in a multi-site Governance/Risk/Quality and Operations role in aged care.Knowledge of aged care accreditation standards and changes.Strong auditing and analysis skills.Ability to identify, mitigate, and prevent risks to ensure resident wellbeing.On offer for this role is the opportunity to work with an extremely supportive CEO and exec team that will allow autonomy and growth, as the organisation expands their portfolio of homes and genuine flexibility that supports work-life balance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
