Join the Heart Foundation and support the Australian Sudden Cardiac Arrest Alliance (AUSCAA) in a pivotal new role supporting the Steering Committee and shaping the future of the Alliance.In this role you will play a key part in establishing a strong governance framework, supporting working groups, and driving strategic initiatives aimed at preventing sudden cardiac death.ResponsibilitiesProvide critical support to the Steering Committee in setting up the Alliance's governance system.Lead document reviews, scoping exercises, and the establishment of working groups.Assist in the creation and dissemination of governance structures and ensure progress tracking of ongoing projects.Coordinate communication, meetings, and reports with government representatives, stakeholders, and the public.This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference.Let's talk about youTo be successful in this role you will have:Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant work experience in health-related field.Strong knowledge of the health and medical research landscape in NSW and Australia, including funding schemes and networks.Experience as an Executive Officer and/or in project management.Proven ability to develop strategies and new initiatives.Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.Skilled in managing priorities, deadlines, and multitasking effectively.Clear, analytical thinker with a strong grasp of scientific information.Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences, including government, research, donors, and staff.Strong collaboration, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Exceptional interpersonal and service-oriented approach.Ready to apply?To apply, please submit a CV and covering letter that addresses the essential requirements by clicking the apply now button below.Applications will close on Monday 2 December 2024, 5.00pm.We can 'heartly wait to hear from youPS: We may commence shortlisting candidates prior to the closure of this role, so please don't delay submitting your applicationBe yourself, express yourselfWe are committed to creating a safe and inclusive work environment for all.We strive to represent the communities we serve and recognise the skills, knowledge and experience a diverse team brings to our organisation.
