Team Manager (Older Persons Mental Health Team)Permanent full time opportunity to role manage the operational delivery of clinical services for a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals providing case management, assessment and treatment to older consumers with a mental illness within both community and inpatient settings.About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:Lead service improvement, service evaluation, research and change initiatives to promote continuous quality improvements and the achievement of best practice standards and Key Performance Indicators.Proactively plan labour and non-labour expenditure and manage the financial resources of the team for efficient and effective delivery of the health service within a defined budget.Build and maintain a supportive and innovative team culture through effective self, peer and team evaluation, timely giving and receiving of feedback and positive problem solving.Provide a range of assessment, intervention and treatment services which meet the health needs of older consumers and carers with mental health issues and aged-related co-morbidities.Health EquityIt is expected that all Metro North Health staff, including the incumbent of this role as a valuable member of the Metro North workforce, contribute to the health equity agenda and meet the intent of supporting the defined six actions that specifically meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).Benefits when working for Metro North Allied HealthFlexible working arrangements and competitive salary rates with annual incremental increasesBenefit from a higher than standard employer contribution to Superannuation of 12.75% and access to generous salary packagingAdditional entitlements for employees (casual employees excluded) may include sick leave, carer's leave, long service leave, paid parental leave, leave without pay to travel, professional development allowance and leave5% annual leave loading with up to 27.5% for shift workersRewarding career and development opportunities across a wide range of clinical and non-clinical areasValue driven organisation which provides a work environment that is safe, satisfying, flexible, and promotes a healthy work-life balanceBe part of a world-class, dynamic and growing health service that embraces technology and innovation, excellence in healthcare, quality teaching and cutting edge research.
