We are a well-established retailer of a huge range of mattresses and bedroom furniture and looking for an enthusiastic Delivery & Warehousing Officer to join our business.This is a full-time position and is available for an immediate start.38 hours per week over 5 weekdays (Monday to Friday).Position Overview:This position involves completing furniture deliveries, driving a truck, and warehousing duties. The role is Monday to Friday and would suit applicants that are physically fit and able to carry bedroom furniture and mattresses.What's in it for you?Supportive team culture and environmentOpportunity to work for a strong family-owned Australian retailerGROW YOUR CAREER - opportunity for training and development across all areas of retail operationsFamily discount offersYour main responsibilities and duties will include:Lifting and moving of mattresses and bedroom furniture (assisted and unassisted)Delivering goods to customersDriving trucks and vans to complete deliveriesWrapping, storing, and packing of goods for deliveriesProviding an excellent standard of customer service at all timesReceiving and preparation for sale and/or display of goods in storeAssist in maintaining accurate stock levels – this may require stocktaking intervalsDealing with customer inquiries as required, solving problems and maintaining strong customer relationshipsDealing with paperwork associated with the sale and delivery processGeneral delivery and warehouse duties as requiredYour experience, skill set, and qualifications will include:Be a self-motivated individual with the ability to work well in a high-intensity warehousing environmentDependable and reliable, with excellent personal presentationAbility to speak to customers with a friendly approachAble to work both independently and in a team environmentEager to learnA full driver's license and the ability to drive manual vehicles is requiredIf this sounds like you, and you're looking for a new opportunity, please submit your application for consideration today.
