Essential skills A certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and solid work experience in the automotive industryThe ability to work in a competent and efficient manner on your own or part of a busy teamStrong communication skillsGood attention to detailThe ability to carry out work to high standards and to deadlinesA proactive and enthusiastic approachThe ability to accurately follow written and spoken instructionsA full driving licenceDay-to-day duties Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standardsInspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based diagnostic equipmentRepairing or replacing broken or defective partsCarrying out DVSA vehicle testing (if authorised)Road testing vehicles to check repairsMaintaining equipment and making sure tools are in good condition.Following checklists to ensure all procedures are completedCompleting all documentation to the required standardOur Culture Arnold Clark is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
