The Department of Anaesthesia is comprised of fourteen Specialist Anaesthetists.
We are accredited for ANZCA training and have a total of eight registrars; the majority of these are drawn from the Victorian Regional Anaesthetic Training Network and the Eastern Victoria rotational training scheme.
We also promote the training of registrars in CICM and ACRRM, alongside PGY1 and PGY2 doctors.
We are seeking a Consultant Anaesthetist for this Regional Victorian Hospital.
Only a short drive to Melbourne, the Hospital has strong ties with metropolitan tertiary hospitals and the University of Melbourne Medical School, offering great opportunities for teaching and research.
Our Client in central Victoria is just 2 hours drive north of Melbourne with proximity to alpine snowfields, rivers and lakes, wineries, the arts; we enjoy glorious weather, great lifestyle and the sports and attractions of a major regional city.

It provides a range of acute, mental health, aged and primary health and community support services across the Goulburn Valley Sub Region of the Department of Human Services, Hume Region.
The main campus is the major acute referral site for the sub region.
