We're on the lookout for 2 Resident Automation Technicians to ensure the smooth operation of complex systems at the plant of one of our key food industry clients based in Melbourne. Responsibilities Ensure the efficiency of the equipment through inspections and maintenance Perform corrective maintenance and troubleshooting activities on the equipment Perform preventive maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance plans Report to Customer and E80 Group the performed activities and system performances Build up a strong relationship between Customer and E80 Group Be the point of contact between the various corporate entities for problem solving Take part in periodical meetings with customer referrals Report to E80 Group regarding performed activities and corrective actions Perform periodic training on-the-job to the customer's personnel Promote improvement activities, modifications, extensions to the system or equipment Manage spare parts available onsite, suggesting reorder points and purchases as needed Organize and manage the maintenance area, tools and equipment Technical Requirements Technical Qualification in electromechanical field or industrial automation Past experience in a role as electromechanical or transfer technician, electrician or automation engineer Good understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical drawings Knowledge of Siemens plc, Beckhoff, Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Rockwell is a plus Soft Skills Requirements Desire to make a difference and represent E80 in front of the Customer Excellent communication skills, intuition and strong autonomy Proactivity and outstanding problem-solving skills Strong critical sense and curiosity in learning new technologies Stress resistance and ability to work under pressure Fluent in English, knowledge of Italian will be a plus Other Requirements English (advanced or native level). Ability to perform electromechanical work, including at heights and in confined spaces. UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician. A-grade Electrical licence. Permanent rights to work in Australia. Valid driver's license (B).
