Business Analyst

Role Overview:In this high-impact role, you will collaborate with the IT portfolio team to create and implement a structured roadmap for information management, supporting compliance with privacy and data protection standards. You'll utilise your expertise in SharePoint, ideally Microsoft Purview, and AI tools to help streamline processes, develop governance policies, and build a robust information architecture.Reporting directly to the Manager of IT Portfolio Delivery, you'll play a crucial role in modernising the company's approach to data management. You'll work closely with teams across the business to guide them through the transition to a more structured, compliant, and user-friendly information framework.Responsibilities:Develop and execute a roadmap for information management and data governanceGuide compliance efforts with Privacy Act standards and data protection policiesDesign and implement a unified information architecture to improve data flowSupport the adoption of AI-driven tools for data efficiency and complianceEstablish policies and systems for data governance and cyber literacyCreate training and adoption frameworks for new technologies and protocolsMonitor and optimise information management processes for ongoing improvementCandidate Profile:You bring a background in information management and an enthusiasm for driving digital transformation in a dynamic environment. You have proven experience in SharePoint and ideally Microsoft Purview, with a working knowledge of AI tools and a mindset for organisational growth. Prior experience in mining is a plus but not required. You are a proactive communicator and adapt well to change, making you an ideal fit for a company that values flexibility and innovation.You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team and are keen to contribute to a company-wide shift towards advanced digital practices.
