By putting people first, taking extreme ownership for our work and doing things the right way, we raise the industry to higher standards and build a better future.We don't ask you to put work first – we know when life is working, work is working, and our people-first culture will help cultivate your personal growth, offering flexibility and balance to accommodate your individual needs.About the roleWe are currently seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Structural Engineer looking for the chance to take their university education and work on a range of exciting and challenging projects.The key responsibilities for this role include:Provide engineering support to structural engineering team whilst learning to manage tasks more independently and meet client deadlines.Meet with clients/contractors and conduct site inspections under the supervision of a senior engineer.Structural analysis and engineering modelling.Collaborate with other engineers to prepare engineering designs and documentation, calculations packages and technical reports.Participate in learning opportunities as required to maintain and improve key skills and knowledge areas.Does this Sound Like You?You'll be an eager and enthusiastic Structural Design Engineer with ideally some industry experience.Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).Knowledge of engineering software such as Inducta SLB, RCB, RCC, Autodesk ROBOT, Toolkit, RAPT, Strand7 is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.0-2 years' experience from a consulting background undertaking structural design.Basic knowledge and understanding of Australian Design Codes for the design of timber, concrete and steel.Ability to work well within a team environment and independently.Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.Permanent resident or eligible to work full-time in Australia.Why Us?We have been Great Place to Work certified for 5 years running.Join CORE Consulting Engineers, where people always come first.
